Run your business. Leave the writing and social media to me.

Let me help your business grow.

If you’re like most business owners, you have a full plate. Heaping and likely overflowing, even. Between doing what you do best and dealing with the administrative tasks that go hand-in-hand with running your operations, there are never enough hours in the day, right? Creating witty, compelling and interesting prose – for marketing, public relations, blogging and social media purposes – is probably low on your “to do” list. If it makes the list at all.

And even if you do manage to put together some great writing, are you using it in the most effective way?

This is where I come in. I love to write and I’m very good at it. I am also passionate about harnessing the power of social media to grow a brand. Combining the two was a no-brainer for me, which is how Island Girl Writing was born. (Wondering about the name? I’ve been a U.S. expat living in the islands since 2011.)

But before moving to the land of umbrella drinks and surf sessions (not necessarily in that order), I had nearly three decades of experience as a lawyer, educator and writer in the US, and as a magazine editor in London. I’ve been writing great copy and managing social media for clients around the world ever since.

My diverse background in law, finance, luxury goods and hospitality, paired with impeccable research skills and social media savviness, make me your go-to partner for compelling website copy, feature articlesblogs, press releases and social media strategies. I make sure your message is amazing, AND that it gets to the right audience at the right time. The result? More brand recognition and leads, which helps your business flourish.

Want to know more about how I can help take your business from ordinary to extraordinary? Get in touch and I’ll show you how I can help your written communications stand out in a sea of competition. We can even chat about life as an expat or the occasional trials and tribulations of life on a rock. Totally up to you.

Sunny regards,

Liz Wegerer a/k/a Island Girl
